When is the FIFA U-20 World Cup 2023?
The FIFA U-20 World Cup in Argentina starts on Saturday, 20 May, and runs through to Sunday, 11 June. Six groups of four teams have been drawn for the tournament.
Where will the FIFA U-20 World Cup be held?
The tournament will be held across four cities: La Plata, Mendoza, San Juan and Santiago del Estero. The showpiece will kick off with four matches on the opening day in San Juan and Santiago del Estero.
Hosts Argentina will be in the thick of things as they get their tournament underway against Uzbekistan in Santiago del Estero Stadium.
Both cities will also play host to the quarterfinals, while La Plata Stadium will host the semi-finals, play-off for third place and the final.

The top two teams from each of the six groups will advance to the last 16, as well as the four best third-placed teams.
